What is included

  • Weekly and biweekly grass cutting
  • Routine lawn maintenance
  • Edging and trimming
  • Seeding and fertilizing
  • Seasonal lawn refreshes

Weekly or biweekly: which fits your yard?

Weekly cutting keeps grass at a steady height during the main growing season, when many Hampton Roads lawns grow fast. A good rule is to never remove more than about a third of the blade at once, and weekly visits make that easy.

Biweekly service can work well for slower-growing lawns, shadier yards, or the shoulder months of spring and fall. We will look at your property and recommend a schedule that keeps it looking sharp without paying for visits you do not need.

What a recurring visit covers

Recurring visits can include cutting, edging along driveways and walkways, trimming around beds, fences, and obstacles, and clearing clippings off hard surfaces so the finish looks clean. We confirm exactly what is included when we quote your property, so there are no surprises.

Seeding, fertilizing, and seasonal refreshes

Timing matters. Tall fescue, the most common cool-season grass in the region, usually establishes best when seeded in early fall. Warm-season grasses like bermuda and zoysia do their growing in late spring and summer.

If your lawn is thin, patchy, or tired after a hot summer, a seasonal refresh can bring it back. Tell us what you are seeing and we will talk through the right approach for your yard.

FAQ

Common questions about lawn care & maintenance

How often should my lawn be cut in Hampton Roads?

During the main growing season, many lawns need weekly cutting so no more than about a third of the blade is removed at once. Biweekly can work for slower-growing lawns. We recommend a schedule after seeing your property.

Do you edge and trim with lawn care?

Yes. Edging and trimming are part of our lawn care service. We confirm what each visit includes when we quote your property.

When is the best time to seed a lawn here?

For tall fescue, the most common cool-season grass in the region, early fall is usually the best seeding window. Contact us to talk through your lawn and timing.
