Built from the ground up, one yard at a time
The Trim Reaper is an owner-led Yorktown business with more than 100 jobs completed. Here is how it started and what you can expect.
Where it started
Jude Fowler started working in professional landscaping at 14. He learned the trade the practical way: on real properties, on real schedules, next to people who expected the job to be done right. Cutting, edging, trimming, mulching, hauling, cleaning up. The unglamorous parts that decide whether a yard actually looks good.
That hands-on work after school turned into something of his own. Jude built The Trim Reaper from the ground up, one yard, one referral, and one returning customer at a time.
Where it is now
Today Jude is 17, a York High School senior, and the owner-operator leading The Trim Reaper crew. The business has completed more than 100 jobs, from weekly lawn care to cleanups, mulch and bed work, patios, and gravel projects across Hampton Roads.
The standard has not changed since the first job: communicate clearly, show up ready, respect the property, and leave the work looking finished.
